Libra Tarotscope

Dear Libra,
Usually I pull just one card per sign, but this month you received the Five of Cups and I didn’t want to end on that melancholy note. I pulled an additional card for a little clarity and you received the Four of Wands, which is much more festive and celebratory. Both cards are interpreted for you below.

The Five of Cups from the Fenestra Tarot

Your Tarot Mentor for December 2025:
The Five of Cups

Theme: Embracing alternatives

Action/Advice: Look for a positive angle

How it might show up in your life:
Finding reasons for gratitude, acknowledging the silver lining, letting go of fantasies and finding alternatives

In relationships: A disappointment due to unfair expectations, learning to work with the truth of the situation, opening your heart to new possibilities and pathways

In work/career: Losing a client or a project, paying your dues until a better fitting position opens up, protecting your remaining portfolio

Traditionally, the image on this card shows someone mourning three over-turned cups, ignoring the two that are still upright and full of wine. If one focuses on the three tipped cups, one misses what is still available in the two left over. This is not to diminish your frustration over a loss or lack – you have faced a disappointment. But despite a small setback, something valuable remains. It’s not exactly what you wanted, but it is more than enough. This card reminds you to keep your eyes  – and heart – open for what is still available to you this month. The essence of what you wanted still exists and it’s nearby. But you’ll miss it if you don’t open up to an alternate source of joy.

The Four of Wands from the Light Seer’s Tarot

The Four of Wands

Theme: Recognition

Action/Advice: Honor milestones

How it might show up generally:
Receiving an honor, joining a new club, celebrations with family/friends

How it might show up in relationships:
Making it facebook official, getting married, saying “I love you” for the first time, reaching a family goal

How it might show up in work/career:
Joining a new firm, booking a great gig, recognition in the company newsletter

This is a delicious card – it’s all about public displays of commitment and recognition of Who You Are and Who You Is Connected To You and What Brings You Joy. I know a lot of actors, and this often comes up before opening night of a new play. For non-actors, it can be a wedding or an engagement dinner. Or maybe it’s not your party, but your daughter or your bestie has something to celebrate and it feels like an amazing thrill for you too. Or it could be a new dream job, or being accepted into a group or club. Something you’ve put love and effort into will click into place and it will feel like a victory. It will be fun. And validating. And you deserve it.
