The Hierophant is a master teacher, a transmitter of traditional wisdom, a pillar of the community, a sage leader. It is this character’s job to remind folks of values like: treat others the way you want to be treated and all things in moderation and wash your hands. The Hierophant is the head of a sanctuary, a safe space for learning, an institution for communal living. This character represents the pure and compassionate influence that you can be this week. In the current climate, many of us are eager to find a return to community but the traditional institutions are broken or overtaxed. If there isn’t a leading voice of reason within your spheres of influence, speak up. Even if it seems old-school, lead by gentle example.
